Hope Through Nelda's Sight
A long period of time has passed since I have entered any updates regarding Nelda's progress. As always Nelda remains optimistic and positive about regaining her sight. Recently she has experienced some vision for a brief period of time but then it is gone. It very frustrating; however, Nelda maintains her faith in a Good God and in his divine will. She continues to make a positive difference in so many lives as she shares her faith and sets an incredible example for those of us who do not have physical limitations, yet we complain about our minor aches and pains. Simply getting up to use the restroom in the middle of the night, without having to call for assistance is a blessing when you hear what Nelda and her family have to endure on a nightly basis....YET, they NEVER COMPLAIN! They only praise God for their blessings, graciously except his will, and strive to help others in whatever way possible. I continue to work on Nelda's Story and I hope to send it to potential publising complanies soon. It is imperative that a face and a name be given to the awful disease that Nelda battles-Vonn Hippel Lindau. I am convinced that a cure can be found with increased funding for research. Please pray that I will have the confidence to move forward with Nelda's cause so that her suffering is not in vain.
