It has been quite a while since I have updated this blog. Nelda continues to need prayer. She is struggling to overcome a severe kidney infection. For the first time last week, I heard her refer to herself as "blind". It was hard to hear, and I was afraid she was giving up; however, in the next breath she said, "But I'm not giving up...I believe...and I am waiting on a miracle....if it is God's Will".
Then when I talked to her last night she was so excited because for a few, fleeting moments she could see the face of her husband, Eddie and she could see blurry figures on the T.V. Almost as quickly as the sight came, it left, and she could not see. Nelda did not complain about the brevity of the sight, instead, she praised God for the miracle of that moment. I know that the Lord is using her in a very special way, and I want you, my dear friends to have the honor of knowing this courageous, pious, humble soul.
