Nelda's family desperately needs prayers. Henry Amaya, Nelda's StepFather is battling Cancer and has been placed in Hospice Care. However, as Nelda demonstrates daily, "Miracles" happen. Elva, her Mom, was just recovering from knee surgery when all of this happened and the in the midst of it all, she and Nelda came down with the flu. Yet, when Pete and I went to visit them last week, they were still the most inspirational individuals you could ever know. Nelda continues on her mission to commit her life to prayer and promote the spreading of the Good News through the individuals she has touched in such a special way. I sincerely pray that I maintain focus on my GOOD GOD instead of my "minor" daily frustrations. The Lord has richly blessed me with healthy precious children, a strong Father, a super family, and very special friends. May I remember, "To whom much is given, much is expected". I want to continue learning by Nelda's example.
