I am currently on a short vacation to New Mexico. I spoke to Nelda a day or two before Christmas and her Mother, Henry, Eddie, and entire family were planning a large family, Christmas celebration in spite of the challenges they are all facing.

I just read a request to have this blog site linked to another blog. It was or would be entitled "The Overcomers" within her (Gloria Garcia's) blog "Light for Every Nation" by Gloria Garcia. I know that Nelda would be honored to have her story make a positive difference in others' lives as long as all glory, honor, and praise goes to the Living Lord, Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit which empowers each and every one of us to push forward, even in the dark.
