Nelda continues to inspire the world around her with her positive spirit. I recently had some medical scares of my own and my prayer partners stood in the gap for me. When I couldn't reach out, due to fear and physical depletion, they prayed for me. Nelda Sosa and Pete Gonzalez were by my side petitioning our Good God on my behalf. Along with my wonderful family and many, many friends. I do still have a small growth on my right lung that the doctors are monitoring; however, the other problems were due to gallbladder disease which was correctly diagnosed by Dr. Farrak, a wonderful surgeon in Corpus Christi, Texas, who successfully removed my gallbladder using laproscopic surgery. Four small incisions and it was gone! I have almost fully recovered , but I am still having some back pain. I pray that this pain subsides in the next week because it is very hard to function at work when it gets severe. Because my father could not stay with me in the hospital (as he had to take care of Mom who is on a feeding tube), I was going to be alone the night following my procedure. However, once Nelda found out that I would not have anyone with me, she took to the phones and made sure that someone would be there when I woke up. It did feel good to wake up and find our prayer partner, Pete Gonzalez, there sleeping in the chair beside my hospital bed. He went above and beyond. He had to leave for work at 4 a.m. after being up with me. What true friendship. I hope one day to repay this heartfelt kindness to him and to Nelda. I know that they will never, ever let me down...just as I know that God won't let me down. He knows our hearts. We just need to leave the details in HIS most awesome HANDS! God Bless!

Sometimes all you have to do is ask yourself. What would Jesus do in a situation like this?
